When talking about world-class beer festivals that everyone knows, Oktoberfest undoubtedly ranks at the top of the list. If you visit Germany in late September to early October, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in this festival. It’s the celebration featuring German beers and is held annually.

In Another Side of the World, in Melbourne, Australia during May, craft beer entrepreneur throughout the city curate and showcase excellent beers from around the world as part of an event known as Good Beer Week, spanning a whole week.

For those who love hops and the Pacific coast, here’s something for you! San Francisco Beer Week takes place every February in the Bay Area by the sea. There, you can visit numerous breweries, each offering something unique, and the United States has many cities hosting their Beer Weeks, where local breweries create special beers and organize fun activities throughout the week.

These are just a few examples of Beer Weeks celebrated worldwide.

And what if Thailand were to have its own Beer Week…

From October 20th to 28th, 2023,

it’s time for Thai Craft Beer Week.

This event is for craft beer enthusiasts all over Thailand. Whether you own a brewpub, craft beer shop, art gallery, live studio, or simply enjoy drinking beer, come and be a part of an event that introduces Thai craft beer to everyone. It’s a Thai-style Beer Week, and anyone can participate from anywhere throughout the week, helping boost the craft beer market, supporting local subgroups, and strengthening communities before the high season in Thailand.

How can you participate?

If you own a brewery, a craft beer shop, or a restaurant that serves craft beer:

you can design any activity you like with no restrictions. It could be live music, book readings, special food courses, pairing sessions, or introducing a special beer you’ve produced. Invite people to come and taste, chat, and enjoy.

If you’re a brewer:

create a special beer for this event. A beer you’re proud of, something you want others to try, maybe using local ingredients. Present it to your supportive customers and host activities with that beer. Or, you can organize a meet-up with your brand’s fan club and do something fun together.

If you have ideas or content you’d like to bring to Thai Craft Beer Week:

find partners and venues to collaborate with, and go for it! There’s a diverse selection of Thai craft beer brands and styles available through Group B Beer. You can choose to be a part of the event, and if you’re new to Thai craft beer, we’re here to help and advise.

How does Group B Beer relate to this event?

Group B Co., Ltd. is the distributor of Thai craft beer. We’re starting the THAI CRAFT BEER WEEK 2023 project with the intention of having Thai craft beer present in every location and various event formats.
